How to hide files,image,video, app or folder without using any app

If you’re an Android user and want to hide your important files or don't want to see your adult pictures, videos and even a adult game to your friends and family there are many apps available in the Google Play to use to hide files and folders. Installing a new app to hide your file is not a problem if you have a lot of space to your storage, however what if you only have a small amount of storage to install that app to hide your files. Well, there is a simple solution for you if you don' t want to use your storage or install a new app to protect your files. Here a simple trick to hide your files and folders without installing a new third-party application.



Create a new folder and move all your private files into it or just rename any folder and simply adding a period (.) before the name of your folder. E.g. If the name of my folder is My files rename the folder to .My files and tap save.
Note: All Android device comes with a default file manager application so you don't need to install a new application.

3. Make your folder disappear. Tap the 3 dot or Menu then tap Settings> under Settings unchecked Show hidden files . Don't have to worry because your files it’s hidden in the device.





4. To view hidden folder, Tap the 3 dot or Menu then tap Settings> under Settings checked Show hidden files and Show file extension.

5 Tips to make your android phone battery last longer

Most smartphone batteries won't last for a few hours, sometimes even you don't use your phone it drain its juice. It is very frustrating to use a smartphone even you have a big size of a smartphone and big capacity of the battery it will not also last for a day. Before you freak out what should be the problem of your smartphone, things to do to make your android battery last longer.

Things to do to make your android battery last longer.

1. Screen brightness and Screen time out
Don't use display auto-brightness, better to set the brightness control to manual and set to top low level only. Use only high brightness mode when necessary because the screen is one of the biggest battery that sucks your battery juice, also set lowest time of the screen to off. To set manually in auto brightness go to Quick setting and you should see Auto with a box and a check. Unchecked the box and your auto brightness will be off and set it to top low level. Other way to off your auto brightness and screen time out go to Setting > Display > Brightness. For Screen time out go to Setting > Display > Screen time out.


 


2. Turn off auto-syncing and GPS
Turning off auto-sync and GPS can help save battery life. To turn of auto-sync go to Setting > Accounts




3. Turn off WiFi, bluetooth and data
WiFi, bluetooth and specially data also one of the biggest sucker of your battery juice. turn if off when it not use.


4. Mobile phone signal
Base on my experience on my phone like in Samsung Note 4, S4 and Oppo A37 if your phone signal lock to WCDMA or LTE your android phone battery drain so fast. So I recommend using only GSM for call and text or in idle mode to save power. Use only WCDMA or LTE when necessary such as downloading, surfing and streaming.

5. Use Power saving mode
Power saving mode help extend battery life because it will shut off certain features of your smartphone like WiFi,Bluetooth, GPS and auto-sync, also it set the screen brightness to a low level.


To know what apps causing your battery drain check your battery stat in Setting > Battery

How to make your android phone run faster and smoother

It is very frustrating to use a smartphone when it is not performing well, sometimes it lags and not responding even you restart your phone the problem still occurs. Here are some tips to make your smartphone run smoother and faster like brand new.

1. System update

Updating the latest software of your device will fix the bugs and some improvements to your android device to run better and smoother. To update you device go to Settings > About device > Software update and check for updates.






2. Uninstall and disable unused apps

Uninstall or disable unused apps that is not necessarily use, it will take up space into your device and also eat you system resources like your ram. uninstalling or disabling apps will free up form consuming your ram. To do this go to Setting > Apps and choose the apps you don't need. Or tap on any app you dont want and then choose App Info there are two option Uninstall and Disable. You can always enable the disable apps if you change your mind.



3. Clear cache and free up memory


Clearing cache data for apps will not affect your phone also it will free up your memory. Sometimes clear data cache it will help your phone form sluggishness or misbehaving apps. From Settings > Apps and choose Clear cache. If you want to clear the whole cache of your apps then go to Settings > Storage and tap on Cached data and then tap OK.

4. Clean up your home screen

Never use live wallpaper and replace with simple wallpaper, also limit or remove unused widgets to your home screen so that it will free up some of your system resources.




5. Perform a factory reset

Lot of apps or games installed to your phone tend to happen your phone will become slow, misbehaving app, freezing or unresponsive screen. Before performing a factory reset be sure to back up important data before proceeding. To perform a factory reset go to Settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset.




6. Use default launcher

Using different launcher like nova launcher, next launcher and smart launcher pretty good but the disadvantage is it will use a lot of your system resources so better use your default launcher.

7. Use app booster

Using app booster like CClearner, Clean master let this app notify you if a certain unwanted app is eating your system resources or draining your battery that tend to slow your phone speed.

8. Install custom ROM

Installing right custom ROM for your device gives more improvements like removing bloatware and bugs. also installing custom ROM for some device that has no longer update from their device.

9. Overclock your device

Overclocking your device will increasing its performance but the disadvantage of this is it will heat up your phone, fast battery drain and shorten the life of your phone.
